A Great Way to Help Someone

We're all keen to make things better for people less well off or fortunate than ourselves, though sometimes giving can be an anonymous and sterile act. Not any more. Now, you can help out a person in less affluent parts of the world to make their lives better.
Kiva is a 100% to the recipient micro-loan company. Basically, people in third world countries who are struggling to make a living or business to support themselves and their families can put themselves up as possible micro loan recipents and you can make a loan of $25 or more to help them out. It's not totally risk free - people might default, though the repayment rate for micro loans in third world countries is exceptionally good - over 95% and so far 100% with Kiva.org.
Anyway, we're all spouting on about how we'd like to make the world a better place and I've just signed up to help out a nice Cambodian lady and thought you might like the opportunity to help out someone to improve their lives too.
