Blends for the Beltaine festival

BELTANE INCENSE

4 parts frankincense
1/2 part sorrel
1 part hawthorn flowers
1/2 part primrose flowers
1/2 part apple blossom
1 part oak bark

LORD AND LADY INCENSE

1 part rose petals
1 part vervain
Few drops cinnamon oil
2 parts myrrh
3 parts frankincense

BLODEUWEDD (Welsh Spring Goddess):

Equal parts of:
Broom flowers
Bean flowers
Horse chestnut blossoms
Oak leaves
Meadowsweet flowers
Nettle shoots
Primrose flowers
Hawthorn blossom
Burdock leaves
Blackthorn flowers
Corn cockle flowers

BELINOS (Celtic Sun God):

2 parts willow bark
1 part daisy flowers
1 part celandine flowers

CREIDDYLAD (Welsh Maiden Goddess):

1 part hawthorn blossom
2 parts oak bark

FAUNUS (Roman Nature God):

1 part bay
1 part reed

FLORA (Roman Goddess of Vegetation):

1 part hawthorn flowers
3 parts apple wood
1/2 part vine leaves
1/2 part rose petals
1/2 part cornflower petals

HYMEN (Roman Maiden Goddess):

1/2 part hawthorn flowers
2 parts hawthorn wood
1 part white rose petals
1/4 part ivy leaves
3 parts frankincense
Few drops rose oil (optional)

OLWEN (Welsh Beltane Goddess):

1 part hawthorn blossom
1 part apple blossom
1 part trefoil flowers
